Doctor of Theology Requirements
Applications must complete and submit the Online Application. Each application must include the following:
Letter(s) of Reference
- one (1) pastoral reference AND two (2) academic references
Essays
- Religious Autobiography
- Reflect on your past spiritual experiences, including the most significant spiritual event/influence in your life, the role of Christ in your life, your involvement in ministry, and your reason(s) for attending your church.
- (minimum 250 words; maximum 500 words)
- Ministry Experience Essays
- An introspective review of your ministerial service. Focusing on your processes, judgments, perceptions, and insights while serving in the Kingdom of God.
- (minimum 250 words; maximum 500 words)
- Application Fee: A $75 non-refundable
Academic Requirements and Official Transcripts
o Official transcripts from all postsecondary schools attended
(undergraduate and graduate coursework)
o Evidence of obtaining a master's degree from an approved seminary
institution with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher
Writing Samples
Applicants must submit a final version of their Thesis as a writing sample to be reviewed during the application process.
Once the application is processed and all essays and writing samples are reviewed the Admission department will contact each applicant to schedule Admission Interviews with an Admission Committee member.
All applications are reviewed for approval by the Admissions Committee is made up of the International School of the Prophets Doctorates.
